The corpse of a 36 years old woman discovered and dragged out of a septic tank in Edea
The population of Edea was yesterday slammed with the macabre discovery of the decaying corpse of one of theirs in an old septic tank.
The decomposing body of the thirty six years old woman who goes by the name of Beatrice Ngobasong who before now, worked at the Edea 1 Council was discovered in the early hours of yesterday in Edea, the Sanaga Maritime Division.
According to sources, the lady who went missing on Friday had been seen earlier that same day with a man he presented as her boyfriend. The boyfriend in question is believed to be a teacher in Douala.
Neighbours also confirmed seeing another man at Beatrice’s resident same Friday; the man they confirmed as Beatrice’s Ex-Boyfriend.
Nobody seems to have a clue as to who the murderer was but pundit strongly suspect a crime of passion. They believe a jealous lover could be the author of the demise.
However, Fire Fighters in the presence of the Divisional Officer of Edea 1 succeeded in pulling out her mortal remains from the septic tank.
Edea City dwellers have described the situation as fearful and are calling on the authorities to put all hands on deck and ensure that the perpetrator does not go unpunished.
