Truck transporting gravel from Mutengene to Tiko crushes three cars leaving many dead
A truck transporting gravel from Mutengene to Tiko in the South West region of Cameroon is reported to have had a brake failure while descending the Likomba Hill crushing two taxis and a private car. Our informant in Tiko says only the truck driver and one young lady inside one of the taxis survived. Many dead bodies are now being removed in small pieces from the three cars shattered by the truck. Cameroon Concord can also confirm that all three drivers of the cars crushed by the truck have been pronounced dead. The Governor of the South West region is currently visiting the scene of the accident. We are following this development and will keep you posted throughout the night.
