Yaounde-Cameroon:Beer Transporting Truck Overturns,Witnesses Consume Drinks On-spot
A truck transporting beer overtuned leaving one person wounded and causing a great deal of traffic congestion at the Nlongkak roundabout in Yaounde-Cameroon earlyier today.
Eye witness accounts say the accident occurred when the heavy duty truck transporting drinks wrongly initiated the Nlongkak roundabout and overturned in the early hours of Tuesday 4th October 2016.
Other reports blame the driver’s non-respect of the code of ethics as cause of the accident.
While the driver of the vehicle was taken to the hospital, his assistant reports say, is yet to be found.
Following the accident, many inhabitants of the area and passers-by used the opportunity to consume free drinks meanwhile others took up the sale of the liquor at lower prices.
Some of the inhabitants of the area indicate that this is not the first time such an accident is occurring at that point.
