Yaounde-Cameroon:Charles Ndongo,the new boss at the CRTV takes up function
The 64 years old seasoned Journalist who has served at the CRTV for about 35 years is the fourth General Manager of the CRTV.
He has climbed the administrative leader throughout his career at the CRTV. Charles Ndongo has held different post of responsibility, including Director of Information and Most recently Central Director of Television before he was appointed to the top job in the corporation.
Despite his administrative duties, Charles Ndongo has never dropped his journalistic pen. He has written several editorials and commented the National Day and other major events in the country. When he was Director of Information TV, he anchored the television bi monthly “Par ici le Debat”
The editorialist also anchored a Bi monthly programme, “Entr’Autre” when he was Central Director of Television.
The 1981 graduate Advanced School of Mass Communication, is coming to the CRTV a house he knows so well after a three and half decades of experience.
He has been described as an astute professional who fought for the profession through his quest for excellence in every journalist work. He is remembered to be one of the key players who worked hard for the creation an English Desk at the CRTV alongside Luc Ananga.
The new General Manager Charles Ndongo will be assisted by another seasoned Journalist, Emmanuel Wongibe who also has a rich professional career having held the positions of Technical Adviser to the General Manager and most recently Director of the CRTV Marketing and Communication Agency, CMCA.
The new management at the CRTV is taking up function at a time when the corporation is undergoing rehabilitation and preparing to launch five new channels.
