419 at its best: Stolen Nigerian plane found in Morocco
A plane belonging to the Bauchi State in northern Nigeria and that was reportedly stolen has been found in Morocco where it was hidden, said Abubakar Mohammed, governor of Bauchi region in northern Nigeria. "I want to announce that efforts to locate the stolen Embraer 145 were successful. It will land at the International Airport Bauchi in a few days, "the governor said to the press.
The aircraft was found thanks to the efforts of the committee set up by the government of Bauchi State, led by Tijjani Ahmed Baba, a retired air commandant. An investigation was opened to determine the circumstances in which the plane was stolen.
