Cameroon: Douala -Yaoundé road repaired with a cargo container

Cameroonian engineers  use a  cargo container for the repairs of the Douala-Yaounde highway which collapsed yesterday 21, October 2016..

This is a container. A metal box designed to transport goods that technicians have installed to improvise a bridge at Mányai Matomb to help restore circulation  between Douala-Yaoundé.

This  road is the busiest  in the country, Heavy trucks and transporters can be seen passing by all day long, will such a metal container be capable of withstanding the heavy tonnes of the cargo trucks?

According to officials, the work should be completed today Saturday, 22. October 2016. The government says the container is just a temporal solution to enable circulation on the busy highway.
