Floods hit homes in Menchum, Bamenda
Several homes have been hard hit by floods in Menchum Division of the North West Region.
The incident has been caused by a newly constructed dam which overflowed its banks, according to state run CRTV.
About ten localities of the area have been hit by the water, reports say.
Plenty of things have been destroyed but no human lives have been lost for the time being.
Menchum is one of the seven divisions of the North West Region whose chief town is Bamenda. The other six divisions include Boyo, Bui, Donga-Mantung, Mezam, Momo and Ngoketunjia.
