Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has arrived in Kenya for his state visit after Uganda . The Israeli leader is set to hold talks with President Uhuru Kenyatta. On the agenda will be security and the threat of terrorism. The two leaders also hope to deepen ties and expand trade relations for both their countries. President Kenyatta and Prime Minister Netanyahu are expected to sign various agreements.

"Israel is a critical partner to Kenya, with its development assistance in security and defense, agriculture and particularly irrigation are important investments here," Kenyan presidential spokesman Manoah said ahead of the visit.

The tour will also take Netanyahu to Rwanda and Ethiopia.
