SCNC :15 Activists, One Blind,In Court This Tuesday
Some 15 SCNC Activists arrested a week back in Buea by Police will appear in Court this Tuesday at the Buea Court of First Instance.
Their crime not clearly stated,but sources say illegal gathering. The Sun Newspaper in its Monday Edition indicates that hundreds of SCNC activists will storm the Courts premises this Tuesday Morning.
Most Activists arrested years back have not been tried Christopher Achobang an activists recalls that "on Thursday 7 May 2015 Walter Numvi, was arrested in Bamenda by elements of the Judicial Police (Tawe, Elondou, Gideon, Etame)".
"On the same day Che Clovis, Andrew Tamanjong were also arrested and detained alongside Numvi in Bamenda. Numvi Walter was kept incommunicado until 8 June 2015(31days) and was denied food, water and subjected to torture and other cruel inhuman and degrading treatment".
