The U.S. Ambassador to Cameroon, H.E Christopher John Lamora, conveyed a message of reassurance to the people of the North West Region during his official visit to Bamenda on Wednesday, January 23, 2024.

Ambassador Lamora, emphasizing grassroots diplomacy and development, reiterated the joint commitment of the U.S. and Cameroon governments to enhance efforts for the betterment of socio-economic conditions and living standards in the region.

In his inaugural visit to the North West Region, Ambassador Lamora engaged in discussions with Prof. Fru Angwafo III, the President of the North West Regional Assembly. Throughout the visit, Ambassador Lamora also met with key regional figures, including Governor Adolphe Lele Lafrique, Mayor Paul Tambeng Achobong of Bamenda, and Regional Delegate for National Security Elung Njume Wilson Nijkang.
