Inside the Power Clash: Samuel Eto'o vs. Narcisse Mouelle Kombi | Expert Analysis
French journalist Philippe Doucet perceives Samuel Eto'o to emerge victorious in his power struggle against Narcisse Mouelle Kombi, thanks to FIFA's intervention.

The suspension of Marc Brys by the Chamber of Conciliation and Arbitration places Samuel Eto'o in a position of strength, according to the French journalist. The current trajectory of the Marc Brys affair and his technical staff seems to be turning in favor of Samuel Eto'o, according to Philippe Doucet. "Given Samuel Eto'o's adeptness, he is capable of garnering FIFA's support, as FIFA's regulations are in his favor. FIFA's regulations favor him because it constitutes sheer interference," he declared on the airwaves of RFI.
Two cohabiting technical staffs
Appointed by the Ministry of Sports, Marc Brys was confirmed in his position by Samuel Eto'o and the Fecafoot. However, the Belgian technician is unaware of which technical staff he is supposed to work with. The initial team presented to him was replaced by the Federation, which contends that the Ministry of Sports usurped the Federation's authority by making these appointments. Since then, Brys has had to contend with two different technical teams. To compound matters, at the behest of amateur clubs, the Chamber of Conciliation and Arbitration suspended the technical staff designated by Samuel Eto'o, including Marc Brys. While Philippe Doucet sees Eto'o as the likely winner, Nabil Djellit, who also participated in the same program, questions the Belgian technician's stance. "I have a question actually. Marc Brys? If I were him, I would have left. How does he manage to stay? There comes a point where, if you are not wanted by the president of the Cameroonian Football Federation, your work will inevitably be hindered," commented the Franco-Algerian journalist.
