Last year, an article was posted on the president's official website showing a manipulated image of the president bowing before a soldier’s coffin.The image was photoshoped.President Paul Biya was not at the ceremony, which was presided over by the minister of defence, because Biya at that time was in Europe. The image was edited using an old picture of the president taken during Cameroon National Day on May 20.Today, after his regime has embarked on a massive abduction spree of prominent voices in the struggle for the liberation of Southern Cameroons, his state owned propaganda newspaper called Cameroon Tribune, primitively came up with the idea of going so low by photoshoping two images to give an impression that schools have resumed in the Anglophone regions of the Country.The two images have been so prematurely photoshoped.It gives the impression at first look of a 9 years old pupil learning first steps in graphic designing.
The state owned newspaper published the fake information to give the world an impression that schools have resumed.
Consortium leader Mark Bareta takes a closer look at the images;
1- The photo is a combination of two different towns.
2- The photos were taken around September (Analyzing for photo noise)
3-The first photo was taken at wide-open shut to hide the number plates.
4- from the time this paper is published, it is doubtful at what time the photos were taken, edited and then compiled for printing; the photos were already handy for editing and printed as early as Sunday 22nd evening.
5- We all know that (sometimes) newspapers are printed and dated few days ahead to compromise for time taken to get to other regions, this paper that carries Monday 23rd was printed on Sunday 22 January 2017. How comes an event that occurred before the publication of a paper appears on the paper?
It should be noted that at the time of filing this report, there is a 100% ghost town everywhere in West Cameroon, activities have been grounded and banks, markets,traffic circulation are not functioning.Schools remain closed.
West Cameroonians Facebook users have been sharing images of the Ghost Town on their walls;

Meanwhile, the confrontation between government troops and Southern Cameroonian citizens has spread all over West Cameroon. Tensions grew up in Mbengwi, momo division in the NW yesterday as police arrest 3 adolescents for sharing tracks on the ongoing strike actions. The population then blocked all roads leading to Bamenda to avoid the police taking them to the Capital of the NW province.
Most Southern Cameroonians have become more radical since the government began a crack down on the leaders of the strike action. Government ministers have vowed that schools must open tomorrow as they have taken measures to ensure the security of every one.

Security forces have arrested Ayah Paul Abine from his residence in Yaounde.He was arrested by 6 armed men from SED. They had no arrest warrant.
Ayah was not permitted to make any calls nor answer any. He was told by them that in case of any resistance he would be brutalised and that he had no choice than to comply.
It almost got violent as Ayah Paul Abine stated to them what the law provides. The armed men prevented anyone from making nor taking calls.
They got into Ayah's privacy with no restraint. Even Ayah's wife wasn't permitted to change clothes as the men in question accompanied her even into her privacy.
No one can tell what Biya's men are up to, but as Ayah left the house he told his administrator to say this to you all: THE STRUGGLE CONTINUES TILL THE END!!!
Paul Abine Ayah was a member of the National Assembly of Cameroon and a member of the ruling Cameroon People's Democratic Movement. Until recently, he joined the Opposition Party called the Peoples Action Party (PAP). In August 2007 he was elected as Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly of Cameroon.[1] He is a deputy for Manyu in the Southwest Province.
