August 22, 2024 — Dr. David Makongo, a distinguished business mining lawyer and humanitarian, is set to release a groundbreaking book that delves into the life and leadership of President Mamadi Doumbouya of Guinea.

Titled *"The Duty of a Committed Pan-African Liberator,"* the book is a compelling narrative that explores the courage, confidence, and vision embodied by General Doumbouya, while also serving as a call to action for Africans to take charge of their future.

As an internationally recognized expert in mining law, a mediator, and a philanthropist, Dr. Makongo has built a legacy that transcends borders.

His academic achievements are extensive, including the Highest Academic Award in Negotiations of Natural Resources Agreements from Denver University’s Sturm College of Law, an Honorary Doctorate of Philosophy in Humanities, and a Master of Laws with a specialization in Natural Resources Environmental Law & Policy, Mining, Oil and Gas, and Negotiation of Natural Resources Agreements. 

Professionally, Dr. Makongo has held key positions such as Legal Advisor for the Cameroon National Petroleum Depot (SCDP), Director for African Affairs at Electrum USA LTD, and Founding Partner of Afro-American Consortium (AAC-3).
