Unveiling Tomorrow's Cameroon Through Today's News

Breaking

The defence ministers and army chiefs of the Lake Chad Basin Commission and Benin are meeting in Yaoundé on Thursday to discuss the fight against insecurity in the region.
They are expected to  examine the text drafted by military experts and associates during the past  days in Yaoundé.
The text is based on the fight against the terror group, Boko Haram, as well as the  humanitarian situation created by the insurgency in the region.
Boko Haram remains a thread to Cameroon, Nigeria, Niger, Chad, and Benin.
Though weakened, the radical Islamic group continues to kill, kidnap people, and loot property.
This meeting comes at a time when Chad is threatening to pull some of it's troops out of the Multinational Joint Task Force due to financial difficulties.
Cameroon on its part received FCFA 10million from its 'citizens' living in the UK some days back.
