Bishop Benoit Balla: Catholic Church still hasn’t received a copy of autopsy test
His lordship Samuel Kleda declared during an interview which he granted to RFI today June 28 2017, that since tests were conducted on the corpse of the late Bafia Bishop, they have not had any documents on the results.
The President of the Episcopal conference was an African guest on the RFI radio this Wednesday. In the course of the exchange there, Samuel Kleda clearly affirmed that, 26 days after the discovery of the corpse, the Catholic Church is yet to have news on the evolution of the investigation that has been done on the death of Bishop Balla. “We are still waiting that they give us the results. We equally hope that they are at work”, divulged Arch Bishop Kleda.
While waiting for the results of the autopsy on the corpse of the dead Bishop, His lordship Samuel Kleda still stood firm on their stand concerning the cause of the death, which was taken during their extraordinary meeting which was held on the 13 of June 2017. It was concluded that Bishop Jean-Marie Benoit was brutally assassinated, even though no traces of brutality were seen on his body which was found in water on Friday June 2.
According to the President of the National Episcopal conference, His Lordship Samuel Kleda, the Catholic Church is being persecuted in Cameroon, considering the number religious men who have been sent to their early graves by unknown individuals.
