First Cameroonian Priest ordained in New York!!!

His Eminence Cardinal Timothy Dolan of the Diocese of New York has ordained the first ever Cameroonian priest in the history of the New York Diocese!!!! Rev. Father Micheal F. Achanyi born in Mamfe the Chief town in Manyu division South West Region of Cameroon and who was expelled from the seminary in Cameroon for supporting Rev. Father Etienne Khumbah was ordained priest at the St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York city on Saturday the 24 of May in the presence of His Lordship Bishop Andrew Nkea, Bishop of the Mamfe Diocese and his spiritual God Father Rev. Father Etienne Khumba. Cameroon Concord wishes a happy congratulations to Rev. Father Achanyi and we of the CAMCORD GROUP are praying in a special way that our Good Lord should continue to direct him as he begins a new chapter in his pastoral mission.
