Unveiling Tomorrow's Cameroon Through Today's News

Breaking

The Lionesses of Cameroon were held to a draw at home by Ghana. The match counted for the first leg of the qualification series for the women's football tournament at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. The visitors set the tone by opening the score through Myles Mercy in the 31st minute of the game. Cameroon equalized in the 54th minute through midfielder Ngani Aghathe.

The Indomitable Lionesses played yesterday's game without two key players who reigned supreme during the just ended world cup in Canada--- Gaëlle Enganamouit and Feudjio Raissa. They were not released by their respective professional clubs. The return match will take place in two weeks in Accra, Ghana. This will be a decisive match for the qualification in the final round of the African Zone.
