The transfer market in Europe comes to an end later this month. Some Cameroonian players are also involved. The latest info is that except for late changes Vincent Aboubakar is to sign for Turkish champions Besiktas. He is leaving on a one year loan from FC Porto and that will earn his club 2.5M euro while he will receive a salary of 2.2M euro. The vice captain of the national football team played in 62 matches for FC Porto and scored 26 goals. Vincent Aboubakar is sure to play for Besiktas in the Champions League. Besiktas are without their mask man Mario Gomez, so is expected that he will fit into the space left by Gomez.
Elsewhere, Cameroonian international goalkeeper Charles Itandji has moved to a new club still in Turkey. The ex-RC Lens player has dropped his bag at Gaziantepspor just after spending some years at Rizerspor. The 33-year old has 12 caps for Cameroon.
To crown it all, good news for Union of Douala that has sold their striker to an Egyptian premiere league club. Samuel Nlend has signed a three year contract with Altihad Football Club of Egypt. The amount for his transfer is still to be disclosed.
