Unveiling Tomorrow's Cameroon Through Today's News

Breaking

The President of ‘Etoile filante’ of Garoua, Abdouraman Hamadou has tabled a complaint to the Chamber of Conciliation and Arbitration of the Cameroon National Olympic and Sports Committee, CCA on the adoption of new texts implemented last August 5th 2015. According to him, these texts precisely article 23 sub section b were not in conformity with the disposition of the law adopted on 15 July 2011 relative to the organisation and promotion of sports in Cameroon.

In the complaint, he emphasised on the statutes of representatives from friendly leagues of the Federation stressing that these representatives according to the law are not part of delegation from the regions. He referred to article 12 of the statutes of the FECAFOOT which states that members of the Regional league come from clubs at the divisional level.

Contrary to this, representatives from friendly leagues according to article 23 of the FECAFOOT statutes are supposed to be part of the team from the regions during FECAFOOT General Assemblies. In response to this, the Chamber of Conciliation and Arbitration has therefore scheduled September 17, a day to closely follow up the complaint tabled by Abdouraman Hamadou. In the meantime, elections will be organised at the Regional level in the days ahead.
