FECAFOOT PALAVAR: John B. Ndeh and Cameroon Tribune at daggers-drawn positions
In what has been described by the media as a new twist in the FECAFOOT crises, John B. Ndeh, a former vice president of the Cameroon Football Federation aka FECAFOOT has started a legal battle with the nation's national daily, Cameroon Tribune claiming he did not validate the FECAFOOT elections that brought Tombi A Roko to office as reported by the state owned newspaper and read over Cameroon radio and television. Said JB Ndeh, “Such was not the interview I granted Cameroon Tribune on November 20, 2015 in writing”.
Mr. J.B. Ndeh recently observed that because of the damage he has suffered owing to the fabricated interview by Cameroon Tribune, “I have contacted the judiciary so that those responsible for this gross manipulation and their accomplices can be exposed and made to pay a heavy price.”
Some reports have suggested that Minister Atanga Nji {acting on personal interest] contacted J.B. Ndeh and sounded a note of caution that if he does not accept the government's decision to validate the election which put Tombi A Roko at the helm of the FA, he shall be thoroughly investigated at MIDENO where he [Ndeh] has been the boss for nearly 20 years. The former FECAFOOT VP insisted he was “wrongly quoted” in the purported interview.
