RIO 2016: Team Cameroon records First Victory

 TEAM Cameroon Olympic Torch bearer Wilfried Dieudonne SEYI has beaten his Colombian Counterpart 2-1 in round 32of the Men’s middle 75kg boxing to qualify for  the 8th final. He goes in the ring this Friday August 12 in same category. The first victory by Cameroon comes to put smile on faces of athletes and officials who have witnessed four defeats in a row.

Alain Didier Ngatcha National boxing trainer says the victory has come as a morale booster. Simplice Fotsala and Ndam Njikam were eliminated in their first fight in boxing, while the female volleyball team has lost two games similar 3 sets to nothing against Brazil and Japan. The team plays their third game against Russia this Wednesday.
