Unveiling Tomorrow's Cameroon Through Today's News

Breaking

The final phase of the Africa Cup of Nations 2016 women's football in Cameroon will be played from 19 November to 3 December 2016. The two stadiums selected to host this continental element, namely the Omnisport stadium Limbe and the Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium in Yaoundé, are not yet ready ten months to the kick-off of the competition.

Cat calls have greeted the management of construction work of the stadiums to host matches particularly in Limbe, the seaside town of the South-west region where a new stadium came out of the ground. Cameroon Concord chief football correspondent who contributed to this report say inspectors from the Confederation of African Football will visit the Limbe stadium on Monday, January 25, 2016.

The CAF delegation will also be confronted with the issue of the baptismal name of the new stadium which has rocked the Fako football family.
