Cameroon Female Volleyball team qualifies for Rio de Janiero

History was made yesterday in Yaounde, the nation's capital as our Volleyball Indomitable Lionesses qualified for the world cup in Rio de Janeiro after thrashing a formidable Egyptian side. Christelle Tchoudjang Nana and her teammates did it for the nation to qualify for the biggest global volleyball sporting event. No Cameroonian women's volleyball team had managed such a feat before. 

Cameroon went into the finals staggering after Egypt had beaten the Kenyans who were favourites of the tournament. It was a thrilling encounter which saw the Egyptians pulled our girls into a tie break. Cameroon were not a great side, but they had Captain Nana Tchoudjang and Stephanie Fotso in attack.
