Cameroon: Lions and Bafana Bafana to clash today in Victoria

The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon who are currently 1st in their group with 6 points will host the Bafana Bafana this Saturday in Limbe. Bafana Bafana of South Africa are 4th and last of the group with just 1 point. The match counts for the first leg, the third and last round of the playoffs for the African Cup of Nations scheduled to take place in Gabon in 2017. 

The Lions are neck-to-neck with Mauritania who dominated Gambia on Friday in Nouakchott thrashing them 2 goals to 1. The Lions now share the lead with Mauritania with 6 points each. A victory would propel the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon to 9 points before the return match next Wednesday in South Africa.

Hugo Broos, the manager-coach of the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon said he was "confident", against a Bafana Bafana side led by coach Ephraim Mashaba. Both teams have already trodden the playground in the famous Victoria now Limbe in the South West region of the country.
