Chantal Biya International Cycling Tour: Cissé Isiaka From Ivory Coast Dominates Day One
The 6th edition of the Chantal Biya international Cycling Tour was in stage one yesterday Thursday, 13.October 2016 with the over 46 participants covering a distance of 122km from Yaoundé to Bafia. Unfortunately, the miracle didn't come as an Ivorian by name Cissé Isiaka won this stage. The rider covered the distance in 2:52:07. Isiaka was closely followed by Switzerland rider Bussard Dimitri and French rider Gery Nathaneal was third. The first Cameroonian rider was Mba Hervé Raoul who came fifth. The first stage didn't witness any major casualties. In terms of team classification, out of the nine teams at the event , Selection Auvergne of France leads while SNH is fourth and Team Cameroon is 5th. Stage two comes up on Friday October 14,2016 and it will cover a distance of 155km from Yaoundé to Ebolowa.
