Samuel Eto'o makes €100.000 bet with fan

Former Indomitable Lions captain, Samuel Eto'o is back in the news. Knowing him as one who's never shy, it wasn't a surprise that he could make a bet of €100.000 to a fan who doubted the recent form of Antalyaspor.

After Antalyaspor's 1-1 draw with Stephane Mbia's Rizespor in a late day seven match of the Turkish premiere league, a disturbed fan Mehmet Akdeniz said he doesn't see Antalyaspor surviving this year.

Responding to the fan's comments, Samuel Eto'o said they will finish at the tenth position by the end of the season. Should this not happen, Eto'o promised to give the fan €100.000.

Next opponents for Antalyaspor is Besiktas. Out of seven matches played this far by Antalyaspor, they have managed to pick up just 3 points and they lie at the bottom of the table.
