Women's Champions League: Five Cameroonians Move To Round Of 16
Over 12 matches have been played across the European continent counting for the return leg round 32 matches of the Women's Champions League. Six Cameroonian ladies started the competition playing with different clubs, but unfortunately, one is off while five march on. The best come back, was Ejangue Siliki's club Fortuna Hjorring that fought back after their first leg defeat away to Spanish club Athletic 1-2.
For a complete run down of the performances of the Cameroonian ladies; FC Minsk of Alvine Njolle was booted out of the competition by Barcelona on aggregate 6-1. Barcelona defeated FC Minsk 2-1 in the return leg, in the first leg they recorded 4-0. Rosengard FC of Deborah Gaelle Enganamouit sailed through to the next phase as they benefited from their first leg 1-0 win over Breidablile of Iceland, they separated goalless in the second leg.
Josephine Ngande and Annette Jackie Messomo of BIIK Kazygurt qualified on aggregate 4-2 after playing a 1-1 draw with Verona Calcio in the second leg. In the first leg, BIIK Kazygurt thrashed Verona Calcio 3-0. Aboudi Onguene's Rossiyanka after playing a goalless draw in the first leg, beat SFK Sarajevo 2-1 to continue with the cup race and Fortuna Hjorring of Ejangue Siliki came from behind to thrash Athletic of Spain 3-1 after losing in the first leg 1-2. They qualified on aggregate 4-3. Here's a run down of the second leg results;
