Cameroon Concord is proud to announce to its readers that the Bafut council recorded the best weddings so far in December 2014. Our Southern Cameroons report team arrived the decision after it did organize a vox pop involving Southern Cameroons municipalities such as Buea, Kumbo, Mamfe, Mundemba, Tiko, Limbe, Bamenda and Tombel.

A birthday celebration in Mankon-Bamenda on the 23^rd of December ended in complete fiasco and pain when Che Felix Mbuh reportedly used an axe and killed his elder brother Fon Emile. The Southern Cameroons forces of law and order have still not released their findings following investigations that were launched immediately after the sad incident.

A former SDF Mayor of the Kumba II council in Meme Division Comrade Ferdinand Nkiaka has been accused by his own party for instigating businessmen and women of the Kumba II council to pay their taxes to the Kumba III council instead of Kumba II.

Calm and security is said to have returned to Bamali-Ngoketunja Division in the North West region following a massive confrontation between the villagers and the administration that culminated in the killings of two persons.

It is terrible at the B.I.R training camp at Sabga.Every day a young guy looses his life in the name of military training and despite this training they are still killed like flies by the Boko Haram terrorist at the northern end of Cameroon.What the head of state and the officers in charge of training these guys have to know is that it is not brutal training and physical energy that will make the BIR win the BH terrorist in the so called war the head of state has declared.It is experience and tact which is required to handle the BH insurgents.This training Camp in my village is a turn to the flesh for my people for this guys have been trained like animals and they do not reason like human beings.The people of Babanki and Sabga as a whole are subjected to brutality as they drink and beat the people both young and old.They harass women old and young for sex and at times brutally assault this women sexually and the girls give in to them out of fear.This is my experience in the village on the 1st two days of new year 2015.

A very brilliant expose His Excellency. The speech captures Cameroon in 2014; ensuring our borders are safe from external threat enabling government hitting key performance indicators on all economic targets. It sets the nation brilliantly for 2015 by setting objectives for economic growth and the implementation of the 3 year emergency plan. The latter sets the pace for growth, peace, stability and hope for all Cameroonians in 2015 and beyond. Well done his Excellency and best wishes for 2015.

Obama was 14 years old when Mr Paul Biya became Prime Minister of Cameroon in 1975. Obama was 21 years old when Mr Biya was handpicked as President of Cameroon in 1982. Obama was 2 years old when Biya was Director of Cabinet. Obama will be retiring in 2 years time at 55 while Mr Biya at 83 will be clinging to power after 46 years as Prime Minister and President. Surely there is something seriously wrong with this.'

Dear Members/families of MECA-USA, Inc. and friends of Manyu,

On behalf of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of MECA-USA, Inc., I would like to wish you and your family Merry Christmas. During this period of sharing, let us think of how we could share our personal blessings with the least fortunate in our community. It is a moment for us to reflect on our common purpose, our shared values, and above all, deep and abiding love of all God’s children.  This period of sharing and feasting should strengthened our love for one another, and encourage us to develop an attitude of tolerance, willingness to forgive and urge us to make a call to those who have wronged us and say brother/sister, I miss you and I love you.

As we also gather in the house of worship, let us ask the Almighty God to cloth the least fortunate and provide nourishment to many around the globe who have the appetite but cannot put food on the table. Let us also ask for “His blessing and His help” as we struggle to build strong families and a better community for our children in the USA.
