Mr Talla Ibrahim the owner of Mawa hotel located at mile 6 Nkwen in Bamenda and a sub-contractor for Eneo called Nche Harry popularly known as "Dangote" were killed today February 22 2022 at about 4:30PM inside the premises of Ayaba hotel in Bamenda by a Cameroonian soldier. The two business men were engaged in a heated argument with the said soldier who was drinking alcohol on the same table with them when the soldier opened fire killing them instantly. Onlookers say the soldier might have been drunk and strangely it is still unclear what they were arguing about, gendarmes stormed the area and ferried the said soldier to safety. We are getting unconfirmed reports that late Mr Talla Ibrahim was related to late Mr Djibril Dubila who was killed on Sunday July 4th, 2021 around the security check point at Below Foncha and accused by the Cameroonian govt of aiding and abetting secession.

Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - The Holy Father Francis has appointed Rev. Aloysius Fondong Abangalo, of the clergy of Buéa, bishop of the Diocese of Mamfe (Cameroon), currently teacher and formator at the St. Thomas Aquinas Major Seminary in Bambui .

His Exc. Msgr. Aloysius Fondong Abangalo was born on June 5, 1973 in Limbe, in the Diocese of Buéa. He studied Philosophy and Theology at the St. Thomas Aquinas Interdiocesan Major Seminary in Bambui, in Bamenda. He obtained a Licentiate in Canon Law from the Université Catholique d 'Afrique Centrale UCAC (2011-2014). As a student he also served in the Parish of St Peter and Paul in Simbock. Since 2019 he has been in Italy for a Doctorate in Canon Law at the Pontifical Urbaniana University.

He was ordained a priest on April 20, 2006 for the Diocese of Buéa. He has held the following positions: Vicar of the Holy Family Parish in Limbe (2006-2007); Dean of Our Lady of Grace College in Muyuka (2007-2009); Diocesan Treasurer and Member of the College of Consultors (2009-2011); Teacher and formator at the St Thomas Aquinas Major Seminary in Bambui and Defender of the Bond at the Interdiocesan Tribunal of Bamenda (2014-2019). Five persons have been confirmed dead in a road accident at Banekane Bridge, Nde Division of the West region of Cameroon.

Witnesses say a lorry coming from Bangante, collided with a bus that was headed to Tonga from Douala. It is alleged that the Lorry had a brakes failure.

The lifeless bodies of the five victims have been taken to the hospital mortuary in Bangante.

On the 13th our team will be organizing a ‘’ Beauty Business Seminar And Workshop’’ which will be open to the general public, on the 14th of May will be the competition day where barbers, hairstylist and make-up artist will show case their talent to the general public , on the 15th we shall be having the first ever award night for beauticians called “Cameroon Beauty Award’’.

Cameroon Beauty Award is an award strictly for young beauticians; the award also includes skincare and hair care brands. We are going to be given a total of 21 awards for the 1st edition the 15th of May 2022. We are going to make the award categories public while our team tour the nation to look for nominees.
