The upset came from Yaoundé where relegation threatened Tonnerre Kalara Club stunned league leaders Feutcheu FC and also the nailing of Dynamo Douala by Renaissance. Meanwhile, among the clubs struggling to gain promotion into league one, Fovu and Stade Renard all got vital wins to keep them comfortable just two days to the end of the championship. The transfer market in Europe comes to an end later this month. Some Cameroonian players are also involved. The latest info is that except for late changes Vincent Aboubakar is to sign for Turkish champions Besiktas. He is leaving on a one year loan from FC Porto and that will earn his club 2.5M euro while he will receive a salary of 2.2M euro. The vice captain of the national football team played in 62 matches for FC Porto and scored 26 goals. Vincent Aboubakar is sure to play for Besiktas in the Champions League. Besiktas are without their mask man Mario Gomez, so is expected that he will fit into the space left by Gomez.
Elsewhere, Cameroonian international goalkeeper Charles Itandji has moved to a new club still in Turkey. The ex-RC Lens player has dropped his bag at Gaziantepspor just after spending some years at Rizerspor. The 33-year old has 12 caps for Cameroon.
To crown it all, good news for Union of Douala that has sold their striker to an Egyptian premiere league club. Samuel Nlend has signed a three year contract with Altihad Football Club of Egypt. The amount for his transfer is still to be disclosed.

YOSA pulled a 0-0 tie Sunday August 21, 2016 with Eding de Lekie during a day 31 fixture of the league One championship.

Though the draw seemingly did not go down well with the supporters, team officials say “the team has witnessed a serious progress this year. 

“People can complain but they do not know what we face. We will continue to work but I think I am doing my job” Ndoumbe Bosso YOSA head coach told hilltopvoices.org reacting to fans who expressed discontent with the team’s recent performers marked by a series of draws.  

It is the first time the team is ranked third three days to the close of the season since 2009 with a players scoring up to ten goals. 

Many observers however think that YOSA is suffering from the team’s decision to stay off the corruption of match officials who on several occasions have been found wanting on certain judgments that deprives the Bamenda team from deserved victories. 

YOSA has three games to the end of the season against Panthere (Bangante), Bamboutos (Bamenda) and Canon (Yaounde). 

Ndoumbe says they will be difficult but he is working hard to get the maximum number of points available.

Equally to be in the spotlight is the young goal keeper, Fabrice Ondoa, who has joined 3- times Europa Cup winner FC Seville on loan from Gymnastic Taragone.

A good deal, according to export, who believe, that at FC Seville the young talent would develop into a fine goal.
