President Biya did not travel to New Delhi for the Africa-India Forum. The Cameroonian leader is represented by the Minister of External Relations, Lejeune Mbella Mbella. The 3rd Africa-India Summit presently holding in New Delhi that began on the 27th October 2015 has been organized to rekindle the long standing relationship between India and the African continent.
Africa and India have agreed that they are experiencing the same challenges that began from the time of colonialism. Not only do the two entities feel sidelined on the international scene specifically the United Nations Security Council, they also have a number of development challenges that could be surmounted through partnerships.
These concerns shall be identified and outlined in two working documents that will be approved at the close of the forum. It has been revealed that the final resolutions will include a Draft Political Declaration and the Africa-India Framework for Strategic Cooperation. Participants want it to be a roadmap that redefines future cooperation not only between countries but also between the two billion peoples. The first Africa- India Summit held in India in 2008 and the second was in Addis Ababa in 2011.

The President of the Senate, Marcel Niat Njifenji has met with the new Turkish Ambassador to Cameroon, H.E. Murat Ulku. Ambassador Murat Ulku who recently began his diplomatic assignment in Cameroon was at the Senate on Tuesday 27th October 2015 in line with his visit to prominent Cameroon government officials.
Both men discussed parliamentary relations between the two countries. Senator Marcel Niat Njifenji and H.E. Murat Ulku also exchanged views on the Turkish expertise in combating terrorism.
The meeting also provided an opportunity for discussions on designing of strategies to reinforce economic and commercial ties between Cameroon and Turkey.

The Prime Minister, Head of Government, Philemon Yang recently received the Deputy Assistant Secretary with the US State Department Bureau for African Affairs, Stuart Symington. Ambassador Stuart Symington met the Prime Minister on 26th October 2015 in Yaounde. The US diplomat outlined the key role Cameroon plays in ensuring economic progress and stability in the Central African sub region.
Prime Minister Philemon Yang and the President Obama envoy also discussed Cameroon’s security challenges and explored new avenues for economic partnerships between Yaounde and Washington D.C. The US official is on a four-day working visit to Cameroon.Stuart Symington is in Cameroon barely some few days after the beginning of the deployment of a contingent of American troops working with Cameroon’s national army to combat the Nigerian Islamic sect, Boko Haram in the Lake Chad Basin area.

Cameroon football legend, Samuel Eto’o has launched an operation code name "Yellow Whistle Blower FC", aimed at raising funds to help victims of Boko Haram atrocities in the Far North region including the more than 42, 000 Nigerians seeking refuge in Cameroon. Eto’o commissioned the movement in London on Tuesday evening.
In a soul searching speech that lasted just a minute, the Cameroonian football star invited people of good will to participate in this initiative for humanitarian purposes. The outspoken athlete reminded the world not to forget the thousands of Nigerians who have been forced to flee their homes by the Nigerian Islamic sect, Boko Haram.

The Minister of the Economy, Planning and Regional Development, Louis Paul Motaze has signed a convention with Belfius Bank of Belgium to install and rehabilitate water points in some 13 localities in Cameroon. Erik de Witte did represwent Belfius bank during the signing ceremony in Yaoundé.
The convention signed on 27th October 2015 is worth 26 billion CFA Francs and will serve in providing potable water to the people of the 13 localities. The Minister of Water Resources and Energy, Basile Atangana Kouna also participated during the signing of the convention. The project is scheduled to go operational in March 2016.26
