The people of ‘Feu-Rouge’ and Akwa Douala were Thursday December 10, witnesses to a spectacular show put up by a young girl. Stripped naked, the girl in her mid 20s made several rounds around the ‘Feu-Rouge’ roundabout and proceeded to the Akwa neighborhood.
The lady appeared just as if she was on her second birth, carrying some fetish items along. A huge crowd became spectators of this melodrama which lasted for close to an hour. Onlookers immortalized the day with shots, while others were just being excited.
Many have pondered why the lady who seemed to be in her senses decided to venture on such act. Observers say it may be connected with rituals. Douala police came to her rescue; she was already surrounded by curious crowd. The lady was given a jean to put on and later taken to a nearby police station.

Thousands of people took to the streets today in Yaoundé, the nation’s capital calling on the Cameroonian dictator to respect Article 66 of the January 1996 Constitution which demands the Head of State and every citizen occupying public office to declare his assets. The anti Biya demo that held earlier today at the Efoulan III district was organized by a group calling itself “The Dynamic Citizen” to mark the International Human Rights Day.
The demonstrators chanted anti regime slogans and requested the immediate withdrawal of the new law advocating the death penalty in Cameroon. One of the organizers of the demonstration Jean Marc Bikoko president of the Confederation of Trade Unions revealed that the action was aimed at preventing the ruling CPDM party of Mr. Biya from enacting Article 2 of the Terrorism Act.

President Biya has announced the holding of the Higher Judicial Council meeting on the 18th of December 2014. Etoudi made public the decision following what it described as the successful holding of the 2014 ministerial council. Sources close to the presidency have hinted that the higher judicial council forum shall focus on the integration of 600 pupil magistrates and auditors who recently graduated from the National School Administration and Magistracy.
Cameroon Concord understands the judicial council will also examine the nominations and appointments of new judges and magistrates including state counsels in the country. The body will inter alia review promotions and above all carryout some disciplinary actions within the judiciary. It is vital to mention in this report that the last higher judicial council meeting was held on the 18th of April 2012.

The national body of the Queen of the Rosary College Okoyong aka OPSA has dismissed 14 members from the US chapter over what it claimed was a fragrant display of disrespect to His Lordship Bishop Andrew Nkea, Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Mamfe. The decision was arrived at by a committee of OPSA experts recently in Cameroon. Cameroon Concord understands that His Lordship Bishop Nkea was compelled to make two trips to the US all aimed at resolving the OPSA USA dispute. The man of God secured a reconciliation deal and signed a Diocesan Order making it public that the Diocese of Mamfe recognizes only United OPSA USA.
Cameroon Concord gathered that a handful of the defunct OPSA USA members who were not happy with the decision went ahead and held their own convention demonstrating absolute disrespect and disregard for constituted authority. It is based on their actions in the USA that the national body took a unanimous decision to expel them from the association.
Those dismissed included the former president OPSA USA Lydien Egbewatt Ntsama (seen here on the photo attach to this report) Josepha Edjua Obama, Bernadette Njeuma, Nju Zeh Bih, Debra Orock, Esther Etta, Annette Takor, Theresia Ma Loba Atanga, Chu Bessem Besong, Getrude Ngoe, Pauline Mediko, Edith Njindo, Colette Forsac and Catherine Enongene.
It is important to include in this report that those academic institutions in Cameroon belong to the Bishops NOT the ex-students.
