“In October 2016, I fell sick so I asked for permission from my boss, the captain of our unit in Kousserie to go to a hospital in Garoua (CHU) in order to carry out some medical tests. He gave me four days. At the hospital, the doctor asked me to wait for five more days before I could have the results. Looking at the situation at hand, and discovering that I had no means to pay my fare back to my work post and then to the hospital again after five days, I begged my boss to understand the circumstances of my prolonged stay, but he refused.
I had no choice but to wait for those five days. On the sixth day, I took the results and left for Kousserie. On reaching there, the captain had already sent my message to Yaounde for absence from work in times of war. My salary was suspended and I equally had to answer before the military tribunal.
I stayed calm even though I still needed more money for my treatment. I begged for permission again from our head, who refused again. I went to another captain who was not under our unit and explained my situation, then he gave me 15 days. I travelled and I came back when I had to return, in 15 days.
When I came back, the head of our unit was not happy with the fact that I took my problem to another person. I had no place in the office for over a month. After the one month, I was reconsidered but under strict conditions for more than 30 days which I humbly accepted.
In early March 2017, I missed the promotion of Gendarme officers to higher ranks. Frustrated, I made up my mind to go to our boss’s office on Friday to ask him to at least reinstate my salary. All of a sudden he ruthlessly chased me out of his office and even brandished his pistol at me.
I went out quietly and looked for a well loaded AK47. Afterwards, I came back to the office and shot the captain. Going outside, I saw the secretary trying to escape, I equally gave her own dose of bullets. I also shot one of my gendarme mates but before I did that, I told him “my man forgive me, between you and I, there is no problem”.
Somewhere behind the building, two female gendarmes were discussing with a woman who lived beside. I shot the woman. The other two started running. One of them while running, hit an obstacle, fell down and started begging “please don’t kill me I’m getting married in November” she pleaded. Despite that, I hit her with six bullets. Her colleague sought refuge in a nearby police station. I followed her there and asked the authorities to release her to me. They refused saying “this is not a gendarmerie station, go and wait for her at the gendarmerie”.
The reason why I killed the two ladies was because they were the ones fuelling up my situation with the captain. They did not call to inform me that a message about me had been sent to Yaounde and they also spent their time telling the captain everything that I did in town”.

According to reports, the yobbos stormed the office Credit Union Complex dressed military attire, with sophisticated weapons and ammunitions.
According to the security guard who was on duty that night, “after seeing them in military uniforms, I mistook the thieves for security officers who were on patrol duty that night before they launched a surprised attack on the Credit Union Complex,” he recounted.
As investigations were opened by elements of the forces of law and order to unmask those behind the robbery attack, it was discovered that some Police Inspectors were the master minders behind the robbery attack.
According to reports, the Police Inspectors facilitated the night exploit on the Credit Union.
Correspondents’ reports gnarled by Cameroon Concord hold that the Manager of the said Credit Union had returned from Kumba with the money, but failed to put it in the save.

Cunning government officials, witnessing a significant leap in the number of frustrated students struggling to enroll themselves in the various public competitive exams which have been launched, decided to increase the price of medical certificates.
It is no longer 900 FCFA in the Nation’s Administrative Capital as it used to be, given that one needs to have 1500 FCFA to be able to obtained the document, which is demanded in most if not all “concours”.
Since the launching of this year’s exams, a significant number of students, most of whom just completed from the high school, are flooding administrative offices to compile their documents. Some go for stamps or certification of their documents.
If the cost were the only hitch it would be better. It is shocking to note that one could get to a health institution and is told that the certificates are finished. The number is limited despite the increase in the price, “I arrived at the dispensary since 7am thinking that I will immediately be attended to. Unfortunately for me, the Doctor was not around. I decided to wait for him as I had been coming here for the past three days. Two days ago, I was told that the certificates for that day were exhausted, that is why I woke up so early this morning because this is the only thing that is lacking from my file of documents”, a candidate preparing for the police exam told Le Messager newspaper.

Cameroonian Police officials have written a letter to the Apostolic administrator of the Bafia Diocese Abraham Kome to retrieve the corpse of the late bishop of Bafia.
The letter was written on July 12.
The head of the judicial police and the head of the department of judicial inquiry urge the clergy to follow normal procedures to remove the remains of His Lordship Jean Marie Benoit Bala from the mortuary and bury them.
Catholic bishops in Cameroon have refused to recognize postmortem examination reports which claim that the bishop probably drowned. No trace of violence was seen on the corpse, they say.
After the publication of the preliminary reports on July 4, the corpse of the bishop was 'given' to the Church for burial.
But the men of God have dismissed the claims that they have been given the corpse.
We don't have the reaction of the Church yet.
The letter reminds Abraham Kome and his men that after July's reports the main vicar of the Bafia Diocese was informed that the corpse was at the disposal of the Church for burial . So the message in the letter is simply a reminder.
Bishop Bala reportedly went missing several weeks ago and was found dead three days or so later.

Meme SDO, Chamberlin Ntou’ou Ndong, has imposed a six hour restriction on commercial bike riders in Kumba, due to security worry.
Ntou’ou Ndong has urged other administrators to implement the decision.
The order prohibits bikes in Kumba from plying the road between 11:00pm and 5:00am.
The SDO said the decision shall be in force “till further notice”.
Article two of the decision states that anyone who contravenes the embargo will be punished in line with the laws in force.
Ntou’ou Ndong’s order comes, a couple of weeks after fire was contained at Kumba III Sub Divisional Office.
Eyewitnesses recounted that the incident occurred in the night of Sunday breaking Monday, July 3.
In the same vein, some unidentified persons set a vehicle belonging to the Kumba Army Rescue Unit ablaze.
Fire incidents on public property in Kumba have been witnessed at the Government Bilingual High School, GBHS Station and Government Secondary School, GSS Barombi Kang among others.
Reacting on the decision, Serge Fapou, a commercial bike rider said it will affect the income of bikers.
Fapou, however, expressed hope that the administration has taken decision for the general good.
Another bike rider said, prohibiting them from working at night is not a cure-all to the security problems in Anglophone Regions. The rider said they have been cases where riders report acts of vandalism, plots to steal or burn property, to the administration.

The Minister of Communication, after disappearing out of scene for a considerable period of time, which is unlikely of him during moments of burning issues where the regime needs to bombard the public with fat lies in their defence, like in the case of Bishop Balla, says he is healthy and fine.
Issa Tchiroma Bakari was reported to be on treatment out of the country as he was allegedly sick. He is one of those people Biya does not take delight in seeing them travel out of the country for any reason whatsoever. If he was out it was probably due to a life threatening issue like health. The power abusers cannot stay in Cameroon and follow their treatment because they have not put the necessary facilities in place. After squandering all of the money for projects, they have no option than to seek better medical attention out of the country.
Cameroon-info:net who reportedly had the Minister on phone, reveal that Bakari broke out of his silence yesterday evening explaining, “yes as a host of people have been saying, I was out of the country but just as my collaborators told you, I am very fine health wise” the Minister reacted while pointing out that he was on a holiday just like any other authority.

Thursday 13 July 2017 is the day set aside for the kickoff of the marking of GCE scripts for the 2016/2017 shaky academic year.
After two preparatory meetings chaired by the Registrar of the GCE board Humphrey Ekema Monono, the correction of scripts for the GCE Ordinary and Advanced Level certificates will start today with over 6000 examiners expected to take part in the two centres Limbe and Buea.
The marking centres are just two due to the annulment of the Bamenda centre, for security reasons. After experiencing burning of infrastructure and battering of individuals going contrary to the trend of events in the Anglophone part of the country especially the Northwest Region, the GCE Board deemed it necessary to limit the marking only to the South West Region where tensions are lighter.
The marking session will be done by two teams; those at the secretariat and the examiners who are expected to correct 175 scripts for the Ordinary level and 160 for the Advanced level each.
It will last for a period of three weeks. During this time, the papers will be marked, and the results compiled for subsequent release.
The number of scripts have dropped, especially for the Advanced Level, due to the timid participation of students in this year’s examination session. The examiners are not happy with this because they will earn less as the marking period has equally been slashed down from 10 to 8 days.
